Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of company growth and financial performance on the return on investment of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. This study seeks to answer the question of whether company growth and financial performance affect the return on investment or not? Financial performance and company growth are the independent variables, and return on investment is the dependent variable. To answer this question, a sample of 79 companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange in the period 2011 to 2018 were examined. Regression model has been used to test the research hypotheses. Findings show that there is a positive and significant relationship between company growth and return on investment, as well as between financial performance and return on investment.
